ARTIST BIO

Gordon Ison is a Lumbee Native. Ison has worked as an actor, production assistant in the film industry, and stagehand. He has appeared in over two dozen independent films, student films and music videos. Other experience includes art gallery, museum and convention installations, as well as driving commercial class vehicles for the teamsters, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cook, and assistant manager in retail music.

After returning from college in Michigan, where he made the Dean's List, Mr. Ison will continue his education in NYC. Gordon now resides in Brooklyn where he is constantly writing and plans to continue playing solo acoustic guitar. Having grown up in the eighties Ison's influence from 77' punk/hardcore resonates when he perfromed with his bands Grievance Committee and Linoleum Blownapart.
