Leaf Arrow Storytellers
Joe & Donna Cross
These remarkable performers have presented their programs in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Southwest Museum in Los Angeles and the National Museum of American Indian in New York. Donna and Joe's delightful performances have been in over 700 schools during the ten years that they have been interacting with audiences and are highly regarded North American storytellers and dancers.
Joe Cross is from the Caddo Indian Nation of Oklahoma. Donna Couteau is from the Sac & Fox Nation of Oklahoma. Both have relied on their close ties to their tribes in sustaining them culturally and spiritually. Their gifts of storytelling exude considerable charm, drama and are filled with life. More than entertainment, the Oral Tradition is interwoven with the religion, teaching, and history of our lives.
"All life is equal and shares equally in the creation", is a recurring theme.
"Native American Celebration " is about renewal, the celebration and cycles of life every day and remembering the various teachings that all people were given throughout their own histories. Enjoy a warm and genuine experience for the whole family.
